Darya Sotoodeh, born in 1997, is a spokesperson for Fridays for Future Germany. Sotoodeh studies translation studies at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and is an activist for anti-racism and global, intersectional climate justice. Since 2020, she has been active as a member of Fridays for Future, mainly in the local branches in Heidelberg and Berlin.

Darya Sotoodeh took part in the panel discussion “Terror for the Climate” on March 28, 2023 as part of the accompanying program for the photographic exhibition on the 2022 Bad Word of the Year “Climate Terrorists”.
