Karly Matthews is Vice President of Communications at the American Conservation Coalition (ACC), where she leads the organization’s communications strategy and works closely with senior leadership to shape messaging around environmental policy, conservation, and energy innovation.

As a spokesperson for ACC, Karly has appeared on major media outlets including BBC World News and Fox & Friends. Since joining the organization’s leadership team in 2020, she has helped amplify ACC’s voice nationwide, facilitating the publication of more than 500 opinion pieces in outlets such as The Hill, The Washington Examiner, and RealClear. Her leadership and influence in public affairs earned her recognition as one of Maverick PAC’s Future 40 honorees in 2023.

Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in Washington, D.C., Karly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from Temple University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication, Advocacy, and Social Impact from American University. She is passionate about effective communication, public engagement, and advancing practical environmental solutions.
