A Climate Change with Matt Matern Climate Podcast

Patrick Drupp is a climate policy leader and environmental scientist serving as Director of Climate Policy and Advocacy at the Sierra Club, where he works to advance clean energy, reduce air pollution, and accelerate climate action through federal policy and advocacy. With a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, his research focused on climate change and ocean acidification impacts on coral reef ecosystems. Before joining the Sierra Club, Patrick worked at NOAA, served as a Congressional Science Fellow in the U.S. Senate, and contributed to national climate and energy policy efforts. Today, he leads initiatives aimed at decarbonizing the economy and advancing equitable climate solutions.
