Steven P. Wilburn is the CEO of VerdeWatts, LLC and an internationally recognized energy executive with more than 35 years of experience developing innovative energy, environmental, and infrastructure solutions. Throughout his career, he has led the development of alternative energy, wastewater treatment, and sustainability projects valued at more than $2 billion worldwide.

A former Vice President of Business Development at AlliedSignal Corporation, Steven combines executive leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and technical expertise across renewable energy, energy storage, biogas-to-fuel technologies, smart city development, process controls, and environmental innovation. He and his affiliated companies hold patents and intellectual property in multiple clean technology sectors.

Steven was a founding member and the first Chairman of the International Cogeneration Society and was named Energy Executive of the Year by the International Association of Energy Engineers. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Trade and Finance Advisory Committee, helping shape policies related to renewable energy, international trade, and economic competitiveness.

Today, Steven continues to lead large-scale sustainable development projects, including luxury resort communities, smart city initiatives, renewable energy systems, and environmental infrastructure projects across North America and Latin America.
