Zanagee Artis

Biography:

Zanagee Artis is an American climate activist best known for co-founding the youth-led Zero Hour movement in 2017 and serving as its Acting Policy Director. After launching his high school sustainability committee into a national climate march that inspired global youth action, he helped organize the 2018 Youth Climate March in Washington, D.C., and later supported Sunrise Movement strikes. As Policy Director, he led the #Vote4OurFuture campaign in swing states, published A Kids Book About Climate in 2021, and now advocates for fossil-fuel policy at NRDC, dedicating his career to education and scalable climate solutions.
