Frederic Samama is Head of Strategic Development at Horizons and a pioneer in sustainable finance. At Amundi, he built its green finance business, pioneering mainstream low-carbon equity indexes and launching a major green bond fund for emerging markets. He co-founded an investor coalition committed to portfolio decarbonization and the Sovereign Wealth Fund Research Initiative. A visiting professor at Sciences Po, he has co-edited a book with Joseph Stiglitz and Patrick Bolton, published research on climate finance, and advised leading financial institutions on climate risk and sustainability.
