Scott Culbertson is a nonprofit leader and environmental advocate whose career spans business, entertainment, youth development, and conservation. He began his professional journey at Unilever and later held roles with Activision, Mediacentrix, and several startup ventures, building expertise in finance, brand management, and strategic leadership.
Driven by a passion for education, environmental stewardship, science, and technology, Scott transitioned into the nonprofit sector. For more than a decade, he served at A Place Called Home, a Los Angeles-based organization dedicated to supporting youth and families in underserved communities. There, he helped create opportunities and programs that empowered young people to thrive despite significant social and economic challenges.
Today, Scott is committed to protecting and preserving critical natural habitats, including the Ballona Wetlands, one of Southern California’s most important urban ecosystems. He works alongside community partners, conservation leaders, and stakeholders to advance environmental education, habitat restoration, and long-term stewardship efforts that benefit both people and wildlife.
